Video Software Products vendor seeks talented, energized Java J2EE software engineers for full-time employee product development positions. Products are based on an open, hybrid architecture that integrates data from any video source, as well as any detection, monitoring or control system, and allows security personnel to focus on awareness, assessment and action.
Candidates will work as part of an agile development team to develop next generation video management applications. Will work with the marketing and field organizations to define, architect, design, and test the applications to meet the requirements of our customers.
Skills Needed:
Strong
knowledge of Java programming, with an emphasis on the following Java technologies.
Spring Inversion of control and aspect oriented programming (highly desirable)
Java web technologies: servlet and jsp in Tomcat (highly desirable)
Strong
knowledge of web-based client-side programming, with an emphasis on the
following:
Excellent knowledge of Javascript and dynamic HTML (highly desirable)
Experience with AJAX, including reverse Ajax (highly desirable)
Excellent software engineering skills
Track record of designing, implementing and testing complex software components and systems as part of a team is a must
Good communication skills are a must
Good test skills, including experience with automated unit testing (Highly desirable)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, while at the same time being able to work independently and a self-starter
Experience in all phases of a software development process, including specification, design, development, testing, and debugging
